This results in the following rules.<\/p>\n<h2>According to which rules we calculate the value-added tax<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Consumer:<\/strong> Our prices always include the standard German VAT rate. It is currently 19 %.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Resellers and institutional buyers:<\/strong> You will receive the value-added tax back through the regular channels. To do so, please be sure to provide your VAT identification number in every case.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Corporate clients from other EU countries:<\/strong> Please provide us with your VAT identification number in a timely manner, and we will issue the invoice without the tax component.<\/li>\n<li><strong>End customers from third countries<\/strong> (for example, Switzerland): Please present our invoice to the local customs office there to have the VAT refunded.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We are bound by this rule and cannot deviate from it\u2014much as we would like to in some cases.
